Another exciting Féile hurling day for the club today as we hosted Holycross, Mullinahone & Sean Treacy’s for the Div 3 Group 1 round of matches.
Following a superb win over Mullinahone and a close loss to Sean Treacy’s Ballina dug deep to get the vital win over Holycross, topping the group and setting up a semifinal game v Clonmel Óg. A 2 pt defeat to the South Tipp club meant there would be no trip to the finals in Dr Morris Park tomorrow for our lads.
It was a great effort from our entire squad today in all 4 of their matches. Based on what was served up today, it’s a season to look forward to with real optimism for this group of players.
